| We’re not asking you to run. We’re not asking you to walk. We’re just asking you to stand up for foster kids by joining the Forgotten Children Campaign.
The Forgotten Children Campaign is an exciting initiative to build both awareness and revenues for Child Advocates during our 25th anniversary year.
For one week in October, 850 life-sized cut-outs - representing the number of children entering foster care in the US each day - will stand on the lawn at Discovery Green in Downtown Houston.
Our goal is to secure a sponsor for each of the 850 children depicted on the cut-outs. A necklace tag will be made for each cut-out showing the 'name' of the child and the sponsor.
By supporting the Forgotten Children campaign, you can help close the gap between the number of children who need our help and the number of volunteer court appointed advocates available to serve them.
Your donation will allow us to put a trained, committed advocate into the life of a child who needs a safe and permanent home. |
